"Good news everyone, I've managed to "TES-ize" Gothic.
Shops will close at 8.00 pm and reopen at 8.00 am, all house doors in Khorinis will be locked until morning. They can be picked, but it will be difficult.
Locks are scrambled, meaning that they randomize at each load/save (that's an .ini function that can be found in gothic.ini)
Chests have been overhauled: more goods, more difficult to pick.
Guards will "almost" attack on sight if they catch someone lockpicking around.
Meaning: Being a thief pays off a lot, but it's a lot more fun and risky
