Oldies but Goldies

O sa dedic topicul asta jocurilor mai batrane, mai vechi macar de un 2000. Pentru inceput o lista cu emulatoare si site-uri unde se pot gasi aceste jocuri, poate si ceva tutoriale de rulare pe sisteme mai recente.

Directia generala a topicului as vrea sa fie postarea de tutoriale si surse de jocuri vechi si o prezentare mai detaliata a unora dintre aceste jocuri.

Anyway, asta am descoperit eu pana acum:

• Abandonia - site de unde se pot descarca o sumedenie de jocuri, plus stiri, tutoriale and other stuff.
  
• Best Old Games - pretty much cam ce face si Abandonia.
  
• NESbox - emulator online de NES cu o multime de titluri, fuck yeah!
  
• SNESbox - emulator de SuperNES cu o multime de titluri, fuck yeah!
  
• Romnation - emulatoare si roms pentru foarte multe jocuri si console.

Deus ex 1, joc aparut in 2000 si avand 13 ani vechi, cred ca pot sa-l includ in categoria oldies but goldies. Mie mi-a placut foarte mult.

No One Lives Forever (NOLF 1), aparut tot in anul 2000, e un stealth, action genial cu nota 9,3 pe gamespot.

Project IGI (i'm going in) e un alt shooter interesant si vechi.

La fel si Unreal Tournament aparut in `99 isi merita locul in lista oldies but goldies, fiind proclamat chiar si ca game of the year.

Max Payne, Mafia, Medal of Honor Allied Assault, Call of duty 1 şi Gothic pot intra şi ele în categoria asta fără nici o problemă.

Super Retro Squad

Da, jocul asta nu a aparut inca, insa locul sau e aici, cu jocurile vechi. SRS e continuare lui Super Mario Crossover si in mare imparte mecanicile de joc cu acesta din urma, cu diferenta ca va avea mult mai mult continut.

Super Retro Squad is a 2D platformer that features characters inspired by classic video game characters. These characters will feature unique gameplay, but their core will be based on the originals. This way, you get something old and something new, and it's all combined together for a fresh, fun experience.

The game will feature 40+ levels that will be spanned across 8 worlds. Each world will be based on one of the characters, so there will be plenty of variety found in the environments and enemies. There will also be an equipment and upgrade system that will allow you to customize your character's abilities, strengths, and weaknesses. We also plan on tying everything together with a cool story that will be explained through dialog and cut scenes.
