Dupa cum vezi, Diocletian a incercat sa-i faca pe crestini sa pacatuiasca. Parte din crestini s-au alaturat romanilor iar parte nu, dar cred ca este irelevant acest pt. intrebarea ta.
Cand spun "pacatuiasca" ma refer la acelasi lucru care l-a facut imparatul Nabucodonosor in vremea lui (ordinul de a se inchina statuii de aur). Pentru ca crestinii au refuzat sa faca sacrificii sau sa se inchine zeilor el (Diocletian) ia inchis/executat (pe cei care a putut sa-i prinda).
