"Time slows down right before an accident, and I had time to think about things. I thought about what an undertaker had told me once - that your hair keeps growing, for a while anyway, after you die, and then it stops. I thought, "What keeps it growing? Is it like a plant in soil? What goes out of the soil? The soul? And when does the hair realize that it's gone?"


Până să văd acest film nu credeam că există un film mai surprinzător ca Shawshank redemption şi mai profund decât The fountain. Ei bine acum ştiu că există.

Pentru prima oară decând mă uit la filme, am fost îngheţat. Da... îngheţat. Exact acea senzaţie. Şi problema e că nu o singură data, ci de trei ori pe parcursul filmului. Nu credeam că e posibil aşa ceva. Ochii mi s-au deschis dintr-odată la capacitatea lor maximă şi corpul mi-a îngheţat din cauza surprinderii.

Dialogurile perfect gândite, regizarea perfectă, personajele neobişnuite mă fac să situez acest film pe locul 1 în topul meu al filmelor. (încă un lucru pe care nu-l credeam posibil)
