SpoilerAccording to this, they're tweaking the combat to be more like Gothic and Risen 1 and going to back to letting the player explore their worlds freely. That's good.
But there'll still be QTEs, all food is still grouped together as provisions and actions like smithing or cooking are still done in a separate window. Apparently, they do this to avoid game-breaking bugs.
They're also adding a minimap to the UI that players might or might not be able to turn off.
In the magazine the interviewer asks: "Will we be able to turn that mini map off if we don't like it?"
The developer responds: "That's a good idea. I'll write it down."
